Draconis Bandmetal

 

En 2003 Gerardo Vargas funda Draconis, una de las bandas más prometedoras de la escena metalera de Río Gallegos, provincia argentina de Santa Cruz, Argentina. Al año siguiente graban una versión demo de una de sus primeras composiciones llamada “Worms”. Afianzando su propuesta durante largos meses en vivo y ensayando, organizando festivales en su zona de influencia, llegan al año 2007 para registrar un nuevo demo bautizado como “Echoes of A Never ending Labyrinth”. Es a partir de entonces que acrecientan aún más sus actividades y logran compartir fechas por todo el país e incluso en shows de carácter internacional como por ejemplo junto a Krisiun. Le prestaron tanta atención a los conciertos, que su primer larga duración se vio demorado. Fue recién en 2010 que graban el primer álbum de estudio llamado “The Beginning of The End”, aunque solo se lanzaría durante ese año un EP bajo el título de “Worms”. Esta misma canción sirve para filmar su primer video clip y usarlo como promoción audiovisual de lo que finalmente en 2011 sería su primer lanzamiento LP. En formato digital y gratuito “The Beginning of The End” alcanzó al público y comenzó a abrirles nuevas puertas. Shows de primer nivel los vieron brillar como junto a Amon Amarth o At The Gates y su nombre comenzó a ser muy respetado a lo largo y ancho de Argentina. De esta manera llegan al 2014 con un nuevo álbum registrado en estudio. El mismo, lanzado por Pulmonar Recordables, responde al nombre de “The Awakening of The Deads” y marca un nuevo mojón en la intensa carrera de Draconis. Un nuevo camino o la continuación del mismo tienen por delante y saben con qué encararlo, por experiencia, prestancia y por sobre todas las cosas, constancia y calidad.

In 2003 Gerardo Vargas founded Draconis, one of the most promising bands in the Metal scene in Rio Gallegos, Santa Cruz, province of Argentina. The following year they recorded a demo version of one of their first compositions called “Worm”. Strengthening its proposal for months live and rehearsing, organizing festivals in their area of influence, they come to 2007 to record a new demo named “Echoes of A Never ending Labyrinth”. It is thereafter that further amplified their activities and achieved dates across the country and even international shows such as alongside with Krisiun. They have been paid much attention to the shows, that their first album was delayed. It was only in 2010 that they recorded the first studio album “The Beginning of The End”, although only launched an EP titled “Worms “. This same song serves to film their first video clip and use it as a visual promotion of what in 2011 would finally was their first LP. In digital and free form “The Beginning of The End” reached the public and began to open new doors. Premier shows saw them shine like with Amon Amarth or with At The Gates and their name began to be widely respected throughout Argentina. In this way they arrive at 2014 with a new album recorded in studio. This one was released by Pulmonar Recordables, named “The Awakening of The Deads”. This marks a new milestone in the intense career of Draconis. A new road or a continuation of it lies ahead and they know how to face it, from experience, excellence and above all, consistency and quality
